Account Denied?

Was your account denied on Virtualslay? There are a few reasons this may happen and most of them have a very simple solution!

Most often than not, the reason is one or more of these:

 

· You did not fill out your form properly and/or you did not complete IMVU verification.

You need to ensure your Avatar name, catalog link, etc, is correct information and there are no typos.

Link to your catalog must be from IMVU classic web and must contain your CID (Creator ID)

All new accounts must verify with us on IMVU so that we know you are the catalog owners identity. You will receive an email when you sign up, please read it and verify your account on IMVU within 6 hours of requesting a Virtualslay customer account. If you fail to do so your request will be denied and deleted.

   

· You are intentionally or unintentionally breaking IMVU's TOS and submitting content that is not allowed.

When requesting an account with us, your catalog will be revised to see if you have the following content:

- Misrated products (GA nudity etc)

- Overly explicit content (UFI)

- Real designer labels, trademarks, logos and brands (Nike, Gucci, Chanel, Disney, LV..etc). Sports and music copyright infringement (ripped music and band merchandise)

Creators are expected to be in good standing with IMVU, you will not be granted an account with us if you do not follow the platform's rules, because there is a real risk that they will disable you for not following their policies.

Be aware that just because there exists certain created content on IMVU does not mean that it is permitted. All creators applying for Virtualslay must have an IMVU VGP and TOS complaint catalog at all times.

 

· You have the tendency to set almost everything as derivable, as a general habit... Particularly hairs / baby-hair. Or you are a mesher with only derivable content.

We do not sell products to set as derivable, our unique licensing is non-derivable ONLY.

If, upon review, we find that you are a creator that just tends to set items to derivable as a habit... we will automatically deny you an account simply because you pose too high a risk to breaking our licensing, even if by mistake.

 

· Your account and/or catalog is simply very new, has too few products or none at all.

If you are a new customer you will be denied access if your account is less than 6 months old and  / or your catalog has a small amount of products (or none).

A catalog is considered small or beginner when it has under 100 products.

This is purely a security measure in place to protect our stock and ensure (within reason) that all creators that access our website have experience and a good base knowledge of IMVU, creating and the Virtual Guidelines Policy.

You are more than welcome to apply with us again when you meet this basic criteria.

[Note] This does not include those that already have an account with us and are attempting to register an alt account. Please contact us if this is the case, or the account will be denied as a new customer.

 

· You are (or were) a file-seller or business owner with similar content, creating a clear conflict of interest between us.

This is due to past conflicts and negative experiences and with the aim to avoid future conflicts. We do not allow access to business owners with clear conflicts of interest, Virtualslay will protect it's own interests and our business.

 

 · You do not obey licensing terms of other file-sellers.

If we find you are not compliant with terms of other shops, you will not be allowed on Virtualslay.

 

· Creators that steal from others are not welcome on Virtualslay!

If you are found to be extracting textures or meshes or having a history of bad behaviour in general, you will be banned from Virtualslay in perpetuity.

 

If you think this decision was made in error or, after reading the above, you do not know why your account was denied, you can file for a manual review if you wish!
